Losing lower belly fat is not an easy goal to accomplish. The human body has a very complex, but also very efficient system for storing fat. This system is hard to subvert and even harder to overcome. Here are some helpful hints that will make your journey to a leaner body easier and more effective. Without wasting to much time lets get into some simple things to implement for your weight loss journey.
Sounds basic but so many people think that skipping a meal to reduce calorie in take is the way to go. They are not wrong but I would not say that they are right either. Don’t starve yourself. You may lose weight and lower belly fat, but you will also lose muscle mass and slow down your metabolism. This is not the way to go if you want to look leaner and feel better. Don’t eat processed foods. These are loaded with sugar and salt, which will cause you to retain water and gain weight. Here are some awesome Smoothies for weight loss that are delicious. There will also be a button at the bottom of the page.
Drink plenty of water. Water helps flush out toxins from your body, which can lead to bloating and water retention. Try to limit or cut alcohol all together. Alcohol is a diuretic, which means it will cause you to lose water weight and actually gain weight in the long run. A University of North Carolina study found that drinking alcohol causes the body to lose water, leading to weight gain. Water has many benefits to it. It carries nutrients and oxygen to your cells, it flushes bacteria from the bladder, aids in digestion, stabilizes the heart beat, aids in normalizing blood pressure and many more benefits to drinking plenty of water. Put a lemon peel in your water and it will even boost your metabolism. I wont go in to much more detail about water I covered this a little in my weight loss breakfast post. I know you aren’t surprised by this one but it works! You don’t have to transform your whole lifestyle or even push yourself very hard. Studies show that (HIIT) is one of the fastest ways to lose weight no doubt. But that is not the only way 10-15 min a day of a light workout will also bread results, just not as fast as (HIIT). The more you workout and consume the proper foods the easier it becomes and more lower belly fat will fall off.
Exercise regularly. Exercise will help burn fat and boost your metabolism. It will also help you to feel better about yourself. Stay positive. If you want to lose weight, you have to believe that it is possible. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. You can do it! Only tell people about your weight loss goals that will either motivate or help you
Be prepared for set backs
I would be lying if I told you that staying focused and positive towards your goal would be easy. Life happens right, bad days, or just plain unmotivated to do what needs to be done. Those days are the most important days to show up and kick butt on. So show up! Lower your belly fat. It’s a little more complicated than that, but that’s the gist of it. That’s why what I am here, to offer you as many resources as you can get your hands on and I sincerely hope this helps.
That’s right sleep. Sleep is important to humans overall but how does this contribute to lowering belly fat? Getting enough sleep will help you feel better and make it easier to control your appetite. So sleep well. Crazy fun fact about sleep is that you actually burn calories in your sleep and your body burns more calories when you are in a deep sleep. The lack of sleep not only has some negative effects on humans mentally but also contributes to weight gain because the lack of sleep has a high chance to increase our appetite making us more likely to consume calories that are not needed or would not have consumed if you were sleeping. Lack of sleep increases cortisol. A stress hormone associated with weight gain. So get your 8 hours you will have a hard time trying to lower belly fat without it.
